The Doghouse

The Doghouse, situated on Verot School Road, is a modern pet care center offering daycare, boarding, and grooming services. Designed by Vermilion Architects, this facility prioritizes the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of dogs, providing them with a welcoming environment that feels like home. The 5,100-square-foot building features climate control for optimal comfort, ensuring pets are cozy regardless of the weather. During the design process, particular attention was paid to selecting a high-quality turf system that is both dog-friendly and easy to sanitize, covering both indoor and outdoor runs. The boarding area includes 14 luxury kennels and 33 standard kennels, offering spacious and clean accommodations for extended stays. Additionally, the salon was meticulously designed to reduce anxiety and stress for pets during grooming sessions. We were challenged with the task of creating a fun, and vibrant lobby, and our designer's selection of the Olivia + Poppy “Dog Days” wallpaper accomplished just that.
