Why am I seeing a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen?
When you launch the As-Built PDF setup file for the first time, you may see a blue Microsoft Defender SmartScreen alert warning you about an "unrecognized app."
This is Windows' default behavior for brand new, independently developed software that hasn't yet amassed thousands of global downloads. Because As-Built PDF is a specialized, local-only utility, it takes time to build this automated "reputation" with Microsoft's servers.
How to install the app:
On the blue warning screen, click the More info link located just under the main text.
Verify that the App name is As-Built_PDF_Setup.exe.
Click the Run anyway button that appears at the bottom right to safely launch the installer.
Note: As-Built PDF is a privacy-first utility. It operates entirely on your local machine, never uploads your documents to the cloud, and contains no tracking software.
